Pearls of Light

Bible Version: King James
This week I had the privilege of receiving the tape of the month...and admittedly I thought to myself...Joanne; you need to listen to these now instead of letting the day pass and forgetting or losing focus on what is more precious then gold. As I obeyed the spirit’s woo I not only listened to all that were sent, but I opened up an album with several that I had been saving. This led me on a journey out of the natural realm full of cares and into a quiet refuge, an inner chamber where nothing else seemed to matter.
Eph.5: 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Circumspect: wary and unwilling to take risks: See vigilant: keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties.
As I set my hand to the plow and managed to continue in my pursuit of listening I was lead to the word in: John 5:8 Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. t9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the Sabbath.
Rise: move from a lower position to a higher one; come or go up: Whole: in an unbroken or undamaged state; in one piece; Take up: agree too accept or acquiesce to. Walk: move at a regular and fairly slow pace by lifting and setting down each foot in turn, never having both feet off the ground at once. Walk one's talk (also walk the walk) suit one's actions to one's words. As opposed to run: pass or cause to pass quickly or smoothly in a particular direction: move or cause to move somewhere forcefully or with a particular result Sabbath: ORIGIN Old English, from Latin sabbatum, via Greek from Hebrew šabbāt, from šābat ‘to rest.
Contemplating the weight of these words I began to see something of a pattern surface.
Bringing into play: Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? (Agreed: discussed or negotiated and then accepted.) This left me painfully aware that you cannot agree much less accept what is given if you do not make yourself available.
Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
The word come means: move or travel toward or into a place thought of as near or familiar to the speaker. In this case the speaker can only be the voice of the HS...leading me back to the word; more fully aware of the joy it is to profess: Rev.22: 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
It is not a common thing to be able to read with an ear to hear I had taken it as common of late but with the outpouring of his word the heartbeat of my beloved is clearer and I am assured of Romans 8:37... in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In the collection of tapes I was listening to the one that caught my eye was called: “Outside the Camp”... what a picture that stirs: In listening to the word in it I was left with a knowing that I know this voice of the Holy one within me but it also left me realizing the need to press is even greater then the first... for pearls such as these are not to be held common.
Rev. 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
