Andrianna Holt's Poetry
I Stand Tall
I only have one voice
And two hands to lend
But I can promise you this
I will do everything I can
To protect the beauty
Of God's land
I will fight to the end
With only my voice
And two hands to lend
To feed the hungry
And help the abused
To save our animals
And stand up for the
Wrongly accused
I stand tall with pride
Speaking for the little
Innocent children who cry
Feeding the stray animals who
Are so starved and weak
I must be their voice, and speak
Offering a helping hand
To a abused person
Who trembles with fear
Afraid to face each new day
Because their predator
Is still near
Standing up for
The innocent person
Who lays in jail
Because he is poor
And can't raise his bail
I used to walk around
My head hung in shame
But now I am proud
To be glorifying God's name
Yes i have only one voice
And two hands to lend
But I will stand tall
And do God's work
Until my very end

A Prayer For
The Homeless Man
I pray that someday you
Get enough food to eat
And you no longer
Have to live on the streets
I pray your days
May get brighter
And the heavy burdens
You carry, become lighter
I pray you find hope
Though some days
It must feel you are
At the end of your rope
I pray as the months
Start to become cold
You find a warm and
Safe place to go
I pray someday that
More people in this world
Will lend you a helping hand
And not look down
On you, because you are
A homeless man
The Power Of
Prayer
As I bow my head
And humbly pray
I thank you God
For helping me through
These darkened days
The loneliness that once
Filled my mind and heart
Is now replaced with hope
For a fresh new start
The pain from dealing
With memories from my past
Is now replaced with
A feeling of peace
That I pray will forever last
Now when I feel alone
And my defenses get weak
It is your guidance, God
I shall forever seek
Though I have no idea
What tomorrow will bring
I know as long
As your with me, God
I can accomplish anything
This Place
Called Heaven
My dear sweet friend
If God should
Call me home tomorrow
Please don't remember me
With tears of sorrow
For I am in
A much better place
Where only good happens
Evil has no face
A place of beauty
Where I am free to roam
This place called heaven
Which now is my home
So my dear sweet friend
I hope you now see
Just how good having
God, in your life can be
Walk out the darkness
And into the light
Pray for forgiveness
And things will be alright
Then maybe someday
We will meet again
In this place called heaven
My dear sweet friend
Dear God
Dear God,
I come before you tonight
To pray things will be alright
So much is going on in this world
With innocent boys, and little girls
Please wrap them, in your loving arms
Protect them from all evil and harm.
I pray for all the homeless people, on the street
Please provide them with a home, and food to eat
I pray for all the animals that are stray
That they find food, and a warm place to lay.
I pray for all, the people who are ill
Please lay your healing hands, on them to feel
I pray for those in the storms path
That you restore their homes in the aftermath.
I pray for everyone who has a lost soul
Please give them direction, on which way to go
I pray for those who have, many burdens to bare
Show them there are people who care.
Thank you God, for hearing my prayers
It feels so good, knowing that you are there
Soon I will be back to pray again
In Christ's Name, Amen.
