Trusting God also includes fearing Him with that reverential fear, by obeying Him. If you truly trust God then you’ll do what He says, knowing full well that it is what’s best for you. What God wants you to do may not always sound like a good plan at the time, but when it comes to master plans the Master knows how to plan. What might seem like a bad idea to us, God knows the ultimate result and we should listen to Him because He’ll never give us a bad idea. It’s us that come up with bad ideas that fail, God’s plans never fail. God’s instructions will never take you to the wrong place. However, you have to compare what you think might be God’s plan with scripture. God will never contradict His own Word. He’ll never tell you to do something that His Word (The Bible,) tells you not to do. So, always be in the Word of God and use that as your tool to knowing God’s instructions. Don’t just pray about something, pray about it and study your Bible! Simply, coming to a devotional or Bible study site like ours is not good enough. Going to church or watching a minister on television is not good enough... All these things are good, but YOU need to study the Word of God for YOURSELF! If you’re not studying it for yourself then you’re not growing in it as you should. And if you’re not growing it in it as you should, then you’re going to lack a lot of things spiritually and one of those things will be faith. And if you lack faith, then you’ll be filled with fear. Because fear is the lack of faith. Remember that phrase whenever you’re feeling afraid, "Fear is the lack of faith."
