Friend or Foe?

Wednesday's Devotion (6-13-07)

"He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth." Luke 11:23 (KJV)

You know a lot of people say things like, "You know just because I don't follow Jesus, doesn't mean I'm not saved. I believe in Jesus." However, read this verse it says, "He that is not with me is against me..." Those are strong words, and it means that if you're not following Jesus then you're automatically an enemy of Jesus. Of course if you're an enemy of Jesus, you're naturally an enemy of the Father God too. How can you be saved if you're an enemy of God? Will not God destroy His enemies?

If you're an enemy of Jesus Christ, then you don't have to remain an enemy. Today you can become a friend, because at one time we were all His enemies. He died for us while we were still His enemies! He can and will forgive you, and become your very best friend if you just come to Him. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins as we forgive all those who've sinned against us. Help us to bring you more friends, and let this message touch the heart of your enemies. In Jesus name. A-men!

God bless
