Can They All Be Wrong?
Sunday's Devotion (3-26-06)
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped
for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)
I'm positive that each of you reading this have been
asked, "How can you believe in a God that you can't see?" That's why it's called
faith, because you believe in something that you have yet to see. You probably
had faith in your favorite football team to make it to the Super Bowl, even
before they made it. If you had faith in them AFTER they had already made it to
the Super Bowl, then that's not faith. That's just believing what you've already
seen.
Still the question arises, "How can you believe in a God that you can't see?"
Let me give you my answer. I can't see the wind either, but I can feel the
breeze from it. I can hear the roar of the winds. I believe in God because I
have felt His very presence and I have heard His voice. It doesn't matter if you
believe it, because I do believe it with all my heart. There are millions more
like me. Can we all be wrong? Now that I answered the question that some of you
asked, then answer mine please: Can millions of believers who have felt God in
their lives be wrong? It's a fact that even though most don't follow God, most
people believe in a higher power.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things.
Please forgive us of all our sins, and we forgive all those who've wronged us.
Please help us to have faith in you and to bring many more to you. Give us the
answers to every question that is asked about our faith in you. In Jesus name.
A-men!
God bless!
