God's Loving Kindness
Wednesday's Devotion (2-22-06)
"Because thy lovingkindness [is] better
than life, my lips shall praise thee." Psalm 63:3 (KJV)
Today's devotion isn't a devotion at all. Today, I just
want to tell you more about this website, and our true purpose.
When we started this website a few years ago, we had a few purposes in mind: 1.
Our ministry would be YOUR ministry. I'll explain that in a moment. 2. We would
build a strong community of believers online... We're still trying for both of
these goals. Our third goal is achieved, we are a destination for prayer
requests. People come to us all the time for prayer, and we appreciate the fact
that you will confide in us, and allow us to pray for you.
About our first goal, "Our ministry is YOUR ministry." What do I mean? Well,
this is why we have all the submission pages, but we don't have enough
submissions coming in. We want your testimonies, we want your Bible studies,
your poetry, and we want to exchange links with you! If you want to exchange
links then please use the contact page. Our ministry isn't just about us
preaching the Word of God to you, it's about sharing experiences with each
other. It's about online fellowship.
Another thing about us is that we welcome all people to our site. If you're a
non-believer, you're welcome here! If you're of another religion, you're welcome
here! BUT we're not going to accept worldly submissions, and we're not going to
accept teachings of other religions other than Christianity. All content posted
on this site will be based on the Bible.
If you haven't read what people have submitted to us: Bible studies, poetry,
testimonies... Then please take the time to do so. It's important to us that
this website become an open forum.
OUR MAIN PURPOSE: SPREAD THE LOVING KINDNESS OF CHRIST!
FACT: References to God's "Lovingkindness" appear in the Bible 26 times! Love
shows up way more.
If you will please invite your friends and family to join us, we'd appreciate
it!
God bless!
Hope you enjoyed. Please post your thoughts on this topic, on the
message board or in our
Guestbook.
