Ask & You Shall Receive/Think You've Blasphemed The Holy Ghost?

Tuesday's Devotion (2-21-06)

"If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" Luke 11:11-13 (KJV)

Some of you have children, some of you don't. I have nephews and nieces that I treated as my own. If they would've been starving, and if I would've had food to give them... I would have given them the food, no problem! Fortunately enough, they weren't starving. Thing is that some of us are starving, starving spiritually. Those that are starving spiritually are thinking, "I've done too many wrongs, God can't forgive me now." I want you to know that we all have, "Done too many wrongs," but the truth is that you all have you do is ask God for forgiveness, all you have to do is ask for the Holy Ghost, and if you do... Then no matter what you've done, you shall receive! That is a promise. If you can ask for forgiveness, and if you can ask for the Holy Ghost, then you can receive both! There isn't one loving dad that wouldn't give to his children when they are in need, and that goes a million times more for your Heavenly Father!

If you have friends or family that believe that they can't be saved, then please send them to read this. Send them to read, because I have an important question for them. Why? Why can't you be saved? If the murderer on the cross next to Jesus can be saved, and if the people who have done things like: Rape, theft, prostitution, etc can be saved... So can you! The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Many think that they've committed this sin, but only few really have. If you can ask for forgiveness, then you haven't committed this sin! If you committed this sin, then your heart would be darkened beyond repair, I'm convinced of this by the Word of God. Some say that nobody knows what this blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is, but I know what it is. The Bible tells us exactly what it is... It's speaking against the Holy Ghost, or the Holy Spirit, whichever you prefer to call Him. You can blasphemy the Father and the Son, and still be forgiven, BUT if you blasphemy the Holy Spirit, then you can't be forgiven and you are condemned for sure. If you have read this far into today's devotion, and if you're worried that you've committed this sin, then I can pretty much guarantee that you DID NOT commit this sin. The deception of thinking that we've committed this sin is one of Satan's most powerful tools. He wants you to believe that you did it so you'll give up, he wants you to believe it so that you'll do it because you think you have anyway. Trust me, I know all about this mind trip. You just have to tell Jesus, "If I did this thing, I'm going to follow you anyway, and I'm going to seek your Holy Spirit anyway. If you send me to Hell, I will praise you there!" Say it and mean it! It does take away from Satan's tactic... Because his tactic is designed to make you quit on Jesus.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message, and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins, and we forgive all those who've wronged us. Please fill us with your Holy Spirit. Keep us from this evil and unforgivable sin. We trust that you'll never let the enemy win over us. We are protected by your Spirit, and by your Son's blood! In Jesus name. A-men!

God bless!
