Spiritually Crippled?
Wednesday's Devotion (1-18-06)
"I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and
delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34:4 (KJV)
If you seek the Lord, your fears will melt away. Whatever
it is that is haunting you, you can find deliverance in Jesus. You can seek the
Lord daily, and pray to overcome your fears. Whatever it is that you fear, you
need to overcome it, and you can with the help of Jesus!
Fear is one of Satan's most important weapons. Why? Because he paralyzes God's
children with it. People like me battle with Satan's mind game of saying,
"You're not going to make it to Heaven, you're going to Hell." Or Satan makes
you worry about losing a loved one, etc. The bottom-line is that it's all just a
trick to spiritually and emotionally cripple us. If he can cripple us
spiritually, then he stops us from doing great works for the Lord. Fear is not
of God! Remember that, and pray to overcome your fears. If you pray, God will
listen and answer your prayer. If you're living in fear, say a prayer right now.
Also, send us a prayer request. We will pray for you, because fear is no way for
us to live!
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message, and for all things.
Please forgive us of all our sins, and we forgive all those who've wronged us.
Please help us to overcome our fears and not to let Satan cripple us. May we do
great things in your name. In Jesus name. A-men!
God bless!
