Our God, Is Fair!
Thursday's Devotion (1-27-05)
"Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye
should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth." John
9:41 (KJV)
Have you ever not known you were committing a sin and then
you came to this site or seen scriptures elsewhere that show you, that you are
sinning? Well, when you were unknowingly committing that sin, you were better
off... now that you know it's sin, you have a responsibility to God. Now you may
think, "If that's the case, what's the reward for reading the Bible?". The
reward is a closer relationship with Christ and also most of you know that you
need to read the Bible, but yet you still don't... so you are still in danger.
People ask me, "How can you believe in a God, that condemns people who do not
know of Him?". I don't believe in a god that does that, I believe in a fair and
just God! How could someone believe in a God, like that is a good question. It's
a good question because when Christ died on the cross he went down into the
bowels of the earth (Hell) for three days to preach the gospel to all the souls
down there, because they didn't know Jesus Christ! With that in mind, my
personal belief is that everyone now gets the chance before they die. I believe
that some how, everyone gets the chance to know Jesus Christ. A God, that goes
into Hell just to preach the gospel to the lost is a God, that gives fair and
equal opportunity to all!
If everyone is to get a chance then that means also that we believers must
spread the gospel and if we spread the gospel... then we make people aware and
when they're aware they have sin and it's then up to them what they will do with
that sin. Will they repent and be saved or will they choose a path to Hell?
Please take note that the belief I stated, "...my personal belief is that
everyone now gets the chance before they die..." is my personal belief. Don't
take it as scripture, just go out and spread the gospel as if people will never
hear it and they may never hear it, if we don't share it!
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things.
Please forgive us of all our sins and we forgive all those who've wronged us.
Please help us to know you and your Word and may we always be cleansed of all
our sins. Help us to spread the gospel to all people of all nations. In Jesus,
name. A-men!
God bless!
Hope you enjoyed. Please post your thoughts on this topic, on the
