Share The Truth, Share The Love!

Wednesday's Devotion (1-26-05)

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6 (KJV)

Some of you think that there is a way to Heaven, without following Jesus Christ. You think that just because someone dies they will go to Heaven. If you die without Jesus Christ, you don't go to Heaven... because He is the only way! Some people actually think they're born Christians because their mom or dad was a Christian. It doesn't work that way, we're not saved through our parents or through ourselves, but through Jesus Christ! You have to have a personal relationship with the Jesus Christ, if you want eternal life, joy and peace in God's Kingdom. Just because you were baptized as a child or because you were born into a Christian family or etc does not mean you are saved... if you call on Jesus, right now and follow Him and be baptized then that means you're saved!

So many people following after the wrong things, the wrong gods and they believe that when they die they will not go to Hell. It's a scary thought if you go outside and look around at all the different people, you will realize that most of them are not following Jesus Christ and are not saved... the scary part is that they think that if they die today, everything will be okay and it won't be without Jesus Christ. The job of those of us who have accepted Jesus Christ, into our hearts is to spread the truth to all who will listen to our voice. What if you wouldn't of known? What if no one told you the truth? Wouldn't you like to know if you were the one who is lost? Share the truth, share the love!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message, most importantly thank you for your Son and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins and we forgive all those who've wronged us. Help us to share your truth and your love and may we help save many souls. Bless the walk of all new believers and the old as well. In Jesus, name. A-men!
