We as followers can often put our faith in the wisdom of man and not in the power of God. Not only do followers do this, but obviously non-believers do as well. A non-believer may believe in science and that is nothing, but the wisdom of man. Of course science, brings a lot of good things like medicines and etc, but we need to trust God, before we trust man. If we're sick, we should pray and not just take medicine. It is God, that decides who lives and who dies, so we should go to Him first.

I sit here and I write a devotional daily, but let me make one thing clear. I don't know whether or not you're touched by my devotions or if they speak to you, but if they do, know one thing. Know that I by faith write these devotions. I write them believing that God, is the one who is giving me the wisdom to write them. I do not trust my own wisdom! Everyday, before I start to write I say a prayer. I ask for the right scripture to write on and the wisdom from God's Spirit, to write about it. I believe that this is something, every teacher of God's Word, should do. Also, I do not just tell you what you want to hear and I do not teach my own beliefs, but the beliefs of the Bible. I have given up my beliefs, because I know the truth is in the Bible! Go to the Bible, go to God and not the wisdom of man!

Many are deceived daily by the wisdom of man. They're deceived, because they would rather hear the wisdom of man, instead of the wisdom of God. I would hate to be a person, that teaches their own wisdom rather than the wisdom of God. If I find out that I made a mistake in my teaching, I want it changed immediately before someone sees it. I do not want to turn anyone astray and that is how every teacher should be. We have to answer to God, for turning people astray and not only that, but I do not want to be the reason for someone going on the wrong path. If you come here everyday, the best advice I give is to go to the Bible and find your answers there!

If the Bible doesn't have a topic in it that you need to know about, you need to be extra careful. That is the biggest opening for man to spread his wisdom. Pray to God and read the Bible for all wisdom and understanding!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins and we forgive all those who've wronged us. Please bring us closer to you and may the wisdom we have and teach be the wisdom that you give us. May we give up our own beliefs and take your truth as our only answers. In Jesus, name. A-men!
