Today, I want to talk about not only judging others, but being judged by Jesus. We should not judge others, because we ourselves are going to be judged. When you go to court for a trial, you can not be the judge and the person going on trial! We as followers should look at Jesus, as the only judge. Some of us (including me at times.) are so quick to judge, but we aren't the judge! Some people will go as far to tell someone, "You're going to Hell!" That is like someone besides the judge in the court, sentencing someone to death! If you're not the judge, you don't have that power! The person who isn't the judge may say, "That person, should get the death sentence!" However, the judge may say different and that is what matters! Some of us may think that certain people deserve Hell, but that isn't our place to say. Jesus, is the judge and why? Because Jesus, knows the heart and that is what matters. We as followers, even judge other followers at time. How would you feel if you found out that someone you said would go to Hell, is really going to Heaven? Wouldn't you feel kind of dumb?

We're all going to go before the judgment seat of Christ, but one thing we need to realize is this: Not one of us deserve life, not one of us deserves God's Kingdom. We're all sinners, but the ones who have accepted Jesus and have allowed Him to wash away their sins, will enter in. Only the ones who seek the Lord, will get life and the Kingdom of God! With that being said, how can you judge another person? You're no different than the next guy, but maybe you've accepted Jesus and they haven't. That isn't a reason to judge, but it is a reason not to! Don't judge, seek to save souls and know that you're saved by Jesus and not by yourself!

Since we're going before the judgment seat of Christ, one day we need to be sure of something. We need to make sure that we don't cause our brothers and sisters to stumble. We need to make sure that we do not cause anyone to fall. Why? Because we're going to have to answer for it! Instead of judging others, we need to look at ourselves and try to better ourselves, for our own good! Also we need to better ourselves, before we can better others. People look at how we live and if we're a good example, then they will want what we have. You need to be the reason for many saved souls and not many lost ones.

People don't realize the damage they do, by trying to play the judge! I hear one too many stories of people turning away from the Lord, because they have the wrong idea and they have the wrong idea because other followers will judge them so harshly. Think about that and try not to be someone who makes people fall, because you are going to have to answer for it. Don't just try, but pray as well. Do not be a stumbling block and do not cause anyone to fall!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins and we forgive all those who've wronged us. Please help us not to judge others and not to chase them away from your truth. Guide us and direct us. Help us to be bright lights for you and to help people carry on in the truth and not to be the reason they fall. Please bring us close to you, Lord. In Jesus, name. A-men!
