You know some of us believers often go to someone else to talk to God. Some think that they must confess their sins to men, before they can be forgiven by God. This is not true! We have the power to go directly to God, through the Spirit of Jesus Christ! The Holy Spirit, lives within us who have accepted Jesus Christ and that means that He is our mediator. Since the Holy Spirit, lives in those who have accepted the Lord, we do not need to go to anyone else. We have a direct line to talk to the Lord, we do not need to call an operator! It is good to have people pray for you, but you also need to realize that you can and you must also pray for yourself! You must go directly to the Lord, for yourself through the Holy Spirit and ask for your own forgiveness!

Many people like to consider themselves mediators between God and men. In my book this is a form of blasphemy. It is a way to try and take away from what Jesus, did! Jesus came and died for us. This is the whole reason He died for us, so we could be reconciled to Him! He died, so we could have that relationship with Him! He died and left us His Spirit, so we could go to Him and have a relationship and ask forgiveness and be forgiven! If you're going to a man to be your mediator, then you're missing out on the full picture! You're not getting the fullness of God's love! The one who created Heaven and Earth, loves you so much that He wants a personal relationship with you! He doesn't want you to go to some man and not directly to Him through the Spirit of His Son!

I don't know what else to say. If you're going to anyone except Jesus, to be your mediator then you don't even understand why Jesus, came! Do you understand?

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins and we forgive all those who've wronged us. Please bring us closer to you and help us to get the full picture. Help us to come to you through Jesus and not try to do it, through man. In Jesus, name. A-men!

If you've accepted Jesus Christ, then you have the one and only mediator between God and man, living in you! Don't be afraid to go to Him.
