Today's devotion will go with yesterday's which can be found by clicking here. A lot of people live in so much fear. They fear this world, they fear their spouses, boyfriends and etc. The fear of the Lord, is the only fear that is of God! I've taught before that obeying God, is the fear of the Lord. We're not supposed to run whenever we hear the name of the Lord. No, we're supposed to obey the Lord. If we obey the Lord and listen to Him, we shall not fear. If we seek the Lord, through all of our troubles we will have no reason to fear whatever it is that we're fearing. I've heard of followers who were so scared that they wouldn't even walk outside of their homes. Some of them hearkened and listened to the Lord and were able to overcome all their fears and leave their homes. I would imagine that some of them never obeyed the Lord and live in fear 'til this very day. If we obey the Lord, we are trusting the Lord. If we trust the Lord, we will not fear. Some of us fear death and death isn't something to fear if you're a follower of the Lord. Jesus, came and defeated death! Death, has been defeated! There is really nothing to fear when you're following the Lord.

Let us take a look at some of the people in the Bible. King David, was a courageous king. He often had reason to fear, but he did not fear. He did not fear because the Lord, was on his side! He knew that and he trusted in that. That is why King David, survived so much. It wasn't possible to do some of the things that King David, did without trusting the Lord. Some of you might say, "Well that worked for King David, but it won't work for me!" Trusting the Lord, works for everyone in every situation! The Lord, doesn't have favor for one guy over another. So, if you trust the Lord, as much as King David did then you can receive miracles that are just as great! If you continue to fear, you are trusting Satan, but if you listen to the Lord and obey Him, you are trusting God! God, is truth and Satan is a liar! Are you going to trust lies or are you going to trust the truth which is God? Trust the truth! Boldly walk outside of your homes and know that God, will defend you! Boldly look your fears in the face and know that God, will carry you through it all! Trust the truth!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this message and for all things. Please forgive us of all our sins and we forgive all those who've wronged us. Please help us to trust you and your truth and to ignore the lies of the enemy and go on with our lives. Please bring us closer to you, Lord. In Jesus, name. A-men!
