When we pass rumors around about others, all we're doing is gossiping and hurting someone. It's not right and we as Christians, shouldn't gossip about others. A talebearer, is like burning coals and wood, to fire. Meaning if they stayed out of other people's problems and didn't tell their tall tales, the fire (The strife/problems) would die out. You can't have the fire place, burning without wood or coals. Let's say your spouse thinks you cheated on them, but you really didn't and someone came over. The person who comes over doesn't like you and wants to cause problems. So, they tell your spouse, "Yeah, I saw him/her, cheating on you!" They say, this just when you were able to convince your spouse the truth. It's like a fire that's about to go out, because there's no wood, but then someone comes and puts wood in, to keep it going. We can't go around, causing problems. Because Jesus, is going to judge us, for this kind of stuff. If you really did, see someone cheat on their spouse, I'd think it'd be only right to tell. However, if you're just making up tall tales, keep your mouth shut and stay out of other people's business. Do unto others, as you would have done unto you! Some people already have problems, so when the tale bearer comes, he or she just makes the fire grow more.

When I went to school, all the other kids would do hateful things to me. One time a kid, dropped a homosexual ad on the floor by my desk and said it was mine. Everyone thought that I was gay and I got picked on constantly. I already couldn't get a girl friend, so when they did that it didn't help. All they did was cause me more problems. That's just an example, I'm happy where I'm at now. I have a great wife, but that's not the point. The point is, nobody should do that to anybody. It's hateful! It's the same way at the work place, there's always someone who's immature. They pass around rumors and do hateful stuff, to others.

We all need to be a little more mature and be sensitive, to other people's feelings. Rumors or tall tales, have caused so many suicides. It causes people to lose spouses, friends and everything. It causes people to pick on others and then, children end up killing themselves over it. It's not worth it and we need to put an end to it! If you have children, you need to teach them this. This is a very important thing, that needs to be taught. Think about all the problems, tale bearers cause. Do you want to be a problem solver or a problem maker? Blessed are the peace makers, for they're called the Children of God!

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you, for this message and thank you, for everything. We ask that you'd help us, not to be tale bearers. Please forgive us of all our sins and we forgive those, who've wronged us. Thank you! In Jesus, name. A-men!
