When we don't read the Bible, we have a vision of how God, would want us to act. We think certain ways, are the right ways. However, I can tell you, your ways are not God's ways. I've thought that things should be handled one way, but then the Bible, tells me different. If we go through life and don’t live the correct way of living, the end of our road will be eternal death and Hell fire! We can't do things our ways, because the Lord, says, “My ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” For example: If you don’t read the Bible, you might think long prayers, will get you heard. However, the Bible teaches, that your much speaking is not what gets you heard. We’re not supposed to have long repetitive prayers. We’re supposed to get right to the point. Also, in the world we’re taught: The Mighty, inherit the Earth. However, the Bible teaches that the meek, will inherit the Earth. There’s many more examples, but if you live by your so called, “Good morals.” You will find that your morals are not God’s and your ways lead to death. We can be very easily deceived by our ways and the world’s way. This is a part of denying yourself and letting Jesus, live through you. You deny yourself, by doing the things God, wants you to do and not what you want to do. You can’t just guess on what God, would have you to do either. You have to know because our God, is complex. You can’t guess His ways, you must read the Bible. I say this all the time, but I believe the Lord, wants me to help get people in the Word of God! What saddens me, is when people say, “We don’t need to read the Bible.” Because I know, we need to. The reason I know is because I didn’t always read the Bible and since I started, things are a heck of a lot better. Not just that, but the Bible teaches that we need to read it. It’s sad, because if you don’t get in and stay in the Word of God, your heart will wax cold and you’ll be cut off the vine (Jesus). If I get one of you to read the Bible, I’d like to hear from you. I’d like to hear, because it would bless me abundantly to hear that the Lord, through me got you to read your Bibles. I talk about this a lot, so if you’re even slightly moved by this or have a small urge or a great urge, to read your Bible, please don’t ignore it. I tell you this, because I want to be a blessing to you and I know if you get in the Word of God, you will be blessed! Your lives will be so much better. Start reading daily and pray for understanding before you read each day. Pray that you’ll understand His Word. Try it for six months and if there’s a change, come here and tell me on the message board. The reason I say that is because, I guarantee a change! Start making that change, for the better today!
