If we had great enough faith, we could move mountains! That statement is fustrating, because we have the power, but we have to believe to use it. It's fustrating when you pray and don't get what you asked for, because your faith is too little. When our prayers are unanswered, we must ask ourselves, "Did I doubt, when I prayed?" We just need to believe and our prayers, will be answered! It's hard to have faith in someone you don't know, right? That's why God's Word, is here for us to read. It's here so that we may have faith, through reading it. I'm in a Bible college course, right now and it revealed something to me. Through the generations of Christianity, most Christians, never owned a Bible. Back in the Bible days, only very few people could access God's Word. This was because they had scrolls and didn't print copies and books. All they had was scrolls. The sad thing, is most Christians now have a Bible, but choose not to read it. We should really be thankful of God's Word and show that we are by reading it. The Bible is here because by knowledge we have faith and by faith, we are saved! When you don't read the Bible and you're a Christian, it's harder to trust God. Because it's like trusting a stranger. Faith, comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God! If you didn't know me and I walked up to you and said, "Come with me! C'mon trust me!" You wouldn't trust me, would you? God, is saying, "C'mon trust me!" However, if you're going to trust Him, you must first know Him. That's why He has put the Word of God, in our reach. If you're never going to read your Bible, give it to someone who will! There are several people in other countries, still who can't access the Word of God and would love to! You might say, "I tried to read the Bible, but I didn't understand it!" There's a secret to understanding the Bible. You must ask for the Holy Spirit and ask for Him, to guide you and open your eyes to His Word! You need to pray for your eyes to see and your ears, to hear, before you read your Bibles. You have to ask for wisdom, through the Holy Spirit, to understand. I have a secret, to writing my devotions. I don't just sit here and write, but I ask God, for the scripture and the wisdom to write on it, through His Holy Spirit.
