Have you ever had a secret, you wanted no one to know? Maybe you decided to tell one person, was that person faithful not to tell your secret or did they tell everyone and their dogs? It's important, when someone tells you a secret, not to go around and tell everyone else about it. When you're a talebearer, you can't keep friends and you can't keep them, because you gossip and give their secrets away. Let's say someone told you a secret and didn't want anyone else to know, because they couldn't live with anyone else knowing. Then you went and told someone else that person's secret, if that person found out, they would be devistated. You could lose that friend and they could even kill themselves. It's very important not to tell other people's secrets. When we pray to God, about our personal matters does He tell anyone else, about our issues? No, He doesn't! You know what that means? That means, we're supposed to try our best to follow Jesus and be like Him. That means we're not to tell everyone else's secrets! Don't get me wrong, some secrets we can't keep secret. Let's say someone tells you, "I have a secret, I'm going to kill someone and then myself!" You can't keep a secret like that to yourself, you must report that to the proper authorities. There is a balance. There's a difference in being a talebearer and telling someone's secret to save a life. I've had a few friends, who I thought I could trust with my secrets, but they turned around and told others. One person, was no longer my friend so she posted right on her website, what my secret was. That devastated me! Whether or not you're that person's friend anymore, you should still keep your word and tell none their secret. It's a matter of being faithful and honourable. Keep your word, because God, would want you to. Sometimes when someone tells us a secret, we want to tell someone else so bad. However, we can't let ourselves. Even if you think it's ok to tell that person's secret, because they'll never know. It doesn't matter if they know, God, knows! Be true to God, others and yourself!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive us of all our sins. Forgive us, for being talebearers and not being true to you, others and ourselves. We also, forgive those who've wronged us and change us. Make us into your image, for your glory! In Jesus, name. A-men!
